Hello readers. I have so much to tell you in this post! But I thought I would break it down for you to enjoy it better. That way it doesn't overwhelm you and myself in the process.
What is in this post:
1. A Character Reveal for Selkie's Storm
2. A Special Thank You for all the Wonderful Reviews
3. A Father's Day Message
4. A Birthday Wish for Myself
Character reveal is for Callum Sinclair:
Callum Sinclair is a respected member of the Mage Council and is a respected fire mage in his community. He is married to Lydia, and they co-run an herbal remedy shop in town. Callum is Serene Sinclaire's adopted father, and she is the one that Gavin comes to about the kidnapped selkie girl. Serene's adoptive mother was good friends with Gavin's mother in turn before she died. Another reason he trusted her with the information. (Side Note: Gavin is Thoren Black's son before Callum and Lydia adopt him as their son.) He helps show to Serene that family in more than just people that share blood.
A Special Thank You for all the Wonderful Reviews:I wanted to report that I have received some amazing reviews that warmed my heart. These reviews were featured around Goodreads, Amazon, BN, and Kobo; with 5 star reviews across the board. There were names I recognized and some I didn't. As a thank you I am working on a re-release of my short story from "Ties of Friendship Anthology" that I was a part of. This story was "Shadows of Willow's Creek." I plan to give it away for free to my subscribers. If any of you know readers that love paranormal mysteries and short stories, send them my way. This story is also great for young readers. If you think they would be interested in some peril, death, and dark themes but nothing gratuitous. I should have it ready to send out her in the next week if all goes according to plan.
A Father's Day Message:
This weekend is Father's Day! I wanted to wish all the dad's out there a special day. I had the best dad ever. His name was Robert, and he was fierce, protective, dependable, hard working and loving. He supported my dreams, pushed me to always do better. He was also my guardian angel when things went wrong, he always managed to save the day. Losing him was one of the hardest things I've ever been through. I lost him before I was ready, just like my mother and so many other loved ones. This reason is why I would like you to show love to not only the living father's but those long from this world. They never should be forgotten and they should be remembered every day. Regret is a heavy burden to carry, no matter how long.
I also have other fatherly figures in my life that I would like to give a shout out too. Those men would be my uncles, cousins, my brother, my husband (who is a super hero), my ex-husband, my father in law, my son, my son in law, and so many others. Would even like to give a shout out to my friends father figures because they influence me just as much. These men are what make me think this next generation will be okay. Happy Father's Day to all of you, my friends, and my readers.
Birthday Wishes:
Not only are we celebrating Father's Day this weekend but on Saturday is my birthday. I will be turning 52 years around the sun. Which is hard and wild to believe. However, my check engine light has been on for a couple of years now. I guess that makes it not so crazy. One year closer to discount pancakes at I-Hop... heck yes!
